INSTRUCTIONS:
PRINTING
1) Mirror your image or artwork.
2) Set printer for plain paper mode. If toner does not fuse completely, adjust to a heavier paper setting.
3) Single sheet feed paper into the printer/copier with the short side first (grain long).
4) Print the image on the blank coated side of the transfer paper.
5) For best results, trim away unprinted areas of the transfer.
Recommends: To choose garments that have a tight weave. This is particularly important when transferring to sweatshirts.
TRANSFERRING- HEAT PRESS APPLICATION
1) Prepare the heat press at 190 C / 375 F Degree.
2) Place the garment onto the lower platen of the heat press, making sure that no seams or buttons prevent even pressure in the area to be transferred.
3) Pre-press the garment twice for 3-5 seconds each time. This will remove any wrinkles and excess moisture.
4) Place the transfer on the top of the garment with the image side down and press at 190 C/ 375 F Degree for 30 seconds using heavy pressure (60 psi or greater).
5) Peel immediately in the grain direction of the fabric. Do not peel diagonally.
6) For best results, hot-peel by removing the backing paper smoothly and evenly.
7) For a smooth and glossy finish, cover the transferred image area with a silicone sheet and press for 10 seconds.
Recommends: Stretching while the transfer is still warm to increase softness and lessen hard hand and film edge.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Leave finished item for at least 24 hours before washing.
2) Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent.
3) Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat setting,do not dry clean Do not iron directly on the transferred area.
TIPS:
1) Be sure the heat press indicator light registers set temperature prior to transferring. The thermometer may indicate a reading of -9 C/ 15 F to -4 C/ 25 F degree higher than actual heat platen surface.
2) Always be sure your heat press is clean. If you are not sure, then protect garment from upper and lower platen by placing plain paper underneath garment and on top of transfer.
3) If the transfer overlaps the product, then place a large piece of plain paper underneath the product to protect the lower platen.
4) For products that are machine washable, it is very important to prepress the fabric to transferring. If humidity/ moisture is not released from the fabric, you may see streaking in the image. Pre-press for the recommended time twice.
5) If it is difficult to peel the transfer, it may have cooled too long. Just repress the transfer for 3-5 seconds.
6) To bring back brightness of colors after washing, place a non-stick paper of silicone sheet over image and iron/press for 15 seconds at high temperature.
STORAGE
Store unused sheets in a resealable poly bag on a flat, cool and dry area
TEST APPLICATION
We test each of our products thoroughly on various substrates using different transfer equipment. However, it is impossible for us to duplicate all variables using all substrates and transfer equipment. Therefore, it is essential that you test the paper prior to production using your equipment, methods, and substrate material. Heat presses very in accuracy. Condust tests to determine the best time and temperature to use with your equipment. Please keep in mind the the seller's and manufacturer's maximum obligation shall be to replace any paper that has proven to be defective. Neither the seller nor the manfacturer shall be liable for any injury, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or inability to use this paper.
